2026 VICTORIAN STATE ELECTION
TIME TO DO DIFFERENT
I fix broken organisations for a living. I have lived locally for the last 15 years. My interests include sport and mentoring students in business. I have been an active member of my community for the past 4 years on social issues. This includes supporting the homeless on Beaconsfield Parade, tackling safety in St Kilda, advocating for sporting activities in Port Melbourne and addressing inappropriate
development in Middle Park.
I ran for Council at the 2024 Council Election in the Port Melbourne ward. I am running for State in 2026 because I care about Victoria, my community and the growing mess Victoria finds itself in.
Our youth and our children deserve to experience the Victoria I knew just ten years ago. In 2016 I became a proud Australian citizen. I feel compelled to contribute to leaving this place in better shape than when I first arrived. It will take 10 years to fix.

Strategic support for local business and shopping precincts, with private-sector urban renewal teams per major high street.
REJUVENATE VICTORIA
Below is an overview of my policy framework, priorities, and further details.
CRIME & SAFETY
- Rebuild Victoria Police Force from the top down, the organisation is broken following 20+ years of decline
- Reverse drug related crime trends - reprioritise policing of drugs, local high street based policing model
- Purge the judiciary of excessive politisation, performance manage Magistrates - everybody needs a boss
MENTAL HEALTH
- Actually implement 2020 Royal Commission recommendations, address the disjointed silo approach
- Post Covid, upweighted emphasis on children and young people, tackle the growing 'isolation' risk
- Build secure housing for those with chronic mental conditions, reduce 'people burnout' (ambos, carers...)
AFFORDABLE HOUSING
- Reinvent the Department of Housing (DoH), start by replacing multiple layers of senior DoH management
- Stop housing violent criminals alongside vulnerable women and children, active DoH auditing of housing
- Revisit the decision to demolish 44 high-rise public housing towers, suspend the process in the interim
LOCAL HIGH STREETS
- Recruit private sector urban renewal professionals to lead regeneration, one team per major high street
- Tax incentives to attract long-term institutional investment capital to kick start change, build momentum
- Revisit transport and parking management policies and strategies, customer / resident first mindset
ALBERT PARK RESERVE
- Reprioritise 'mother nature' and green grass activites, shrink Grand Prix impact to 4 months a year
- Investment to restore the lake and surrounds to prior standards, a joined up Port Phillip sports strategy
- Local stakeholders to have greater say in management of the Reserve including impact of the Grand Prix
FISHERMANS BEND
- Get on with it. Prioritise Fishermans Bend over competing demands, specifically the SRL
- Sandridge Recreation Precinct. If necessary, consider revised plans in order to attract development capital
- New integrity framework to address any CFMEU / Chinese involvement in Fishermans Bend
TACKLING THE COST OF LIVING
VICTORIA STATE
- Reduce red tape civil service (VPS) bureacratic headcount by 20,000, save $4bn a year every year, leverage AI
- Put $1,000 back into the pocket of every working Victorian annually without compromising front line services
- Tackle key drivers of demand on services, improve management of front line activities - smarter not more taxes
pOrt phillip council
- Reduce administrative waste, especially upper / middle management, saving by year 4, $50-60m per annum
- Address spend on third-party suppliers / 'other', why $46m per annum ( 58% more) above Bayside Council?
- Seek to optimise the Council's significant $3.5billion of fixed assets - greater amenity / less cost - parking fees?
VICTORIA - INCONVENIENT FACTS
STOP CRIME, CORRUPTION, RED TAPE, AND DRUGS
- Corruption and red tape is the root cause for cost of living pressures, declining services, increasing crime
- A Royal Commission into the CFMEU by itself is not enough, the corruption 'ripple' has spread far and wide
- It will take 8-10 years to rebuild Victoria's key public institutions, our childrens' future depends on it
ROYAL COMMISSION INTO: VICTORIA POLICE HQ, THE JUDICIARY AND IBAC
- Corruption not addressed costs you personally serious money, stress and less funding for public services
- Our enforcement bodies suffer from chronic integrity issues, why are so few 'high up' people ever charged?
- Police officers say Victoria Police corruption is a problem - 21% of those surveyed by IBAC in 2024 (8% in 2016)
FRESH START REQUIRED, THE STATE REPLACE THE LOCAL COUNCIL
- Unlock $100m a year, every year in Port Phillip Council waste and corruption, cost $2,200* per adult per year
- Most expensive (50% above Metro Council average), Council has attempted to mask true performance
- Recruit senior private sector management, fix over a four year period, then return Council to the electorate
